Welcome to DisneyLife! Disney’s Answer to Netflix!

Unless you’ve been under a rock, you’ll know that Netflix has been an integral part of all of our lives for the past few years.

Mostly so we don’t look like the odd one out when all of our friends go on about programmes like Orange is The New Black or finding really weird films that you didn’t even know existed.

And they do have a reasonable collection of Disney films available on the service, but get ready Disney fans…because Disney is launching their own monthly subscription service which will give users unlimited access to movies, books, music and more!

I KNOW!

Classic films like Lady and The Tramp and Pixar movies like Toy Story will be available as well as Disney Channel programmes (please let there be That’s So Raven please please pleeeaaaaase)

Sadly this will not include Disney’s other franchises like Star Wars and Marvel, but Disney CEO Bob Iger basically said if the first version does well, they’ll probably add the other movies in the future.

The launch of the subscription service is set to start in the UK then move over throughout Europe in 2016 reaching countries like France, Spain, Italy and Germany.

The monthly price will be £9.99 a month, which for all of the films and programmes is an absolute bargain.

On an interactive level, when you sign up you’ll be able to create a profile for yourself based on what your favourite Disney film is. You’ll be able to choose from characters like Elsa, Nemo, Snow White, Woody and Mickey.

As a parent, you’ll be able to monitor how much of your child’s time is spent on the app and you can set a timer for weekends and week days.

The app is set to be launched for both Android and iOS products and can be used on Airplay and Chromecast.

Since the app is not available to buy yet, you can head to Disneylife.co.uk to sign up and keep yourself posted on the launch!
