So here we go! (Prepare to be amazed)

  1. All Plants in Tomorrowland Are Edible – Tomorrowland is a section of Disneyland where you will find rides like Space Mountain, Stitches Great Escape and Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin.
But did you know that all of the plants can be a tasty and nutritious snack?
Because it’s supposed to represent a time way in the future where everything is futuristic and beyond anything we have today, it is supposed to be a more sustainable and eco-friendly place. So go on, while you’re there give one of the plants a little nibble..
  2. There is a Time Capsule Buried in Sleeping Beauty’s Castle

In 1995, a time capsule was buried in Sleeping Beauty’s castle and it is going to be opened on the 80th anniversary of Disneyland, July 17th 2035.

  3. A Candle is Lit For Walt Disney in The Window of His Secret Apartment

Walt Disney visited Disneyland often, so often that he wanted his own space so he could sit and watch people enjoying his park. He had it constructed on the second floor of the Main Street Firehouse.
Whenever he would visit the park, he would light a candle in the window to let people know he was there.
After he died, employees decided to keep the candle lit all the time in memory of Walt. I know. Heartbreaking.

  4. Hair Confetti

When you’re walking down Main Street, look out for the Harmony Barber Shop. Head in and you can ask for a free sprinkling of hair confetti. Choose from Princess confetti or pirate confetti!

  5. There’s a Secret Basketball Court Hidden in the Matterhorn.

The rumour was recently confirmed! At the top of the Matterhorn mountain, there is a hidden basketball court that the employees at Disneyland use when they’re on their breaks!

These are just some of the cool things happening at Disneyland right under your nose! Know of any others? Seen any hidden treats on your trips?
