May The 4th Be With You!

Happy Star Wars Day!

Today is the day in which we celebrate the force of the Star Wars films (eh? Sorry.) Whether you’re a die hard super fan, or whether the films are something you remember sitting through when you were younger and just enjoy the nostalgia, today is the day to do nothing else but quote your favourite lines or act out your favourite scenes.

If you’re looking for ways to enjoy your May 4th, here are some of the ways you can show your appreciation for the franchise.

Sky Movies Star Wars-

Sky Movies is doing a back to back marathon of all 6 movies, and will be carrying on into tomorrow with ‘Revenge of the Fifth’. So get your Chewbacca onesie on, make a huge bowl of popcorn and stick the tele on.

Pre-order Star Wars Battlefront

The trailer for the video game coming to consoles in November looks amazing. Whether it’s actual gameplay or not, the graphics look superb, it made me excited to see the actual game and it’s already got a huge hype around it.
If you head to Game now and pre-order the game for £48, you’ll enjoy the following benefits.

• Learn what happened before the events of Star Wars™: The Force Awakens™
• 2 maps set on the all-new planet of Jakku
• 7 days early access for those who pre-order Star Wars™ Battlefront™
• Available as a free download to all players on December 8th, 2015

You won’t get the game till later this year, but it’s worth securing your pre-order now!

Order Some New Star Wars Merchandise-

There are loads of Star Wars items out there for you to get your hands on, and there is no better excuse to treat yourself to some new gear than on May 4th.
Some of the websites you should check out for their Star Wars collections are blackmilkclothing.com, Vans, Red5 and Lego.

Download Star Wars Games on Your Phone

The App Store has a few decent Star Wars games on offer for you and if anybody moans that you’re being unsociable, just tell them what day it is and tell them to mind their own damn business.
Some of the games you should check out are Star Wars Commander in which you build your own Death Star and control all of those on it and Lego Star Wars The Complete Saga.

However you’re enjoying your May 4th, I hope it’s a good one!
